Eating your way to Health
Instinctively we know what we eat affects our health, our capacity to heal and even our state of mind. Modern research confirms diet as a major factor in all the chronic degenerative diseases and that what we eat can be highly preventative. In medicine, diet as a therapy seems to be less well studied. This workshop provides a rare opportunity to spend a day with one of Australia’s most experienced authorities in this field.
Ian Gawler used nutrition as one of his major tools to recover from a very difficult cancer over 35 years ago. Drawing on his veterinary training and experience, Ian has worked with thousands of people who took their food very seriously. Continuing to research the subject, Ian has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience.
- Be clear about what a healthy diet suitable for all members of the family really is
- Clarify how intensive you need to be to get the best out of what you eat at different stages in your life
- Differentiate between a healthy, maintenance diet and what is better suited for healing major illness
- Learn the 5 major components of the healing diet and why they make such compelling good sense
- Put into perspective juices and supplements
