Wednesdays with Ian - 18 sessions in Hawthorn

Program Overview

This is a unique program intended for those who are serious about helping themselves. Sessions will provide an opportunity to go deeper into the healing journey, more fully integrate lifestyle changes and be guided through any setbacks or challenges, supported by Ian within the group setting.
Participants will have already completed either the Life and Living 10-day residential program or the Living Well 12-week cancer self-help program.

This 18-session program provides an opportunity to work closely with Ian and explore the outer reaches of your potential for healing from cancer. It will be challenging. It will be fun. It could transform your life.

Content will be based on Ian’s book You Can Conquer Cancer.

Where and when

Commencing Wednesday 7 March until Wednesday 21 November 2012 (with breaks
for integration) from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. (Sessions 7/3, 14/3, 21/3, 28/3, 11/4, 18/4, 2/5, 9/5, 16/5,
30/5, 20/6, 27/6, 17/10, 24/10, 31/10, 7/11, 14/11, 21/11)

Format

The process will provide participants with intensive coaching from Ian in a group setting. Each session will consist of discussions and meditation to support you to clarify your healing goals and treatment options, with Ian’s insights .

Facilitated by Ian Gawler OAM, Founder of The Gawler Foundation. Ian is one of Australia’s best known, long-term cancer survivors and advocates of a healthy lifestyle. Ian began one of the world’s first lifestyle-based cancer self-help groups in 1981. He has authored five bestselling books including You Can Conquer Cancer. Known for his clarity and good humour, Ian has a gift for translating ancient wisdom into a modern, scientific context. Ian has played a  major role in pioneering and popularising meditation and other mind-body techniques in the Western world.
