A weekend retreat to nurture the feminine and renew life's energies

Program overview

Tired? Need some time out? Maybe some time to nurture yourself? This exciting experiential weekend retreat has been designed by women for women. Take a break from your busy life to recharge, reconnect and refocus your energies. Time out at The Gawler Foundation in the Yarra Valley will nurture and invigorate you through meditation, relaxation, movement, massage and a range of creative activities. A balance of structured sessions and free time will give you ample opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility.

Format

The weekend includes:

  • Physical relaxation 
  • Breathing techniques 
  • Meditation (instruction provided for beginners) 
  • Movement and gentle yoga stretches 
  • Creative dance (no previous skill required) 
  • Reflection through a range of creative activities 
  • Simple group massage techniques 
  • Fully catered wholefood plant based diet meals

Qualified massage, shiatsu and reflexology therapists will also be available on reques (additional fees apply).

When and where

The program, which is run several times a year, starts at 5.30 on a Friday night and concludes at 3.30 on Sunday. Due to the nature of this program, numbers are restricted.

Held at The Gawler Foundation's Yarra Valley Living Centre, 55 Rayner Court Yarra Junction (Melways ref 288 J 12).

Facilitators

The weekend will be facilitated by Robyn Jones who has had many years experience running programs for women and currently works as a therapist with The Gawler Foundation. Meet our facilitators on our About Us page.
