A five day reteat celebrating life and the present moment
This program is the next step for all our previous Living in Balance participants. It is a five day experiential program designed to enhance the celebration of life and in the process, to heal any resistance to living more in the present moment. The program also provides practical strategies for finding freedom from limiting thoughts and accessing the power of being more present.
This retreat will deepen contact with the true self, the natural world, others and with spirit. Through meditation and mindfulness processes, you will continue your journey towards greater compassion and kindness to yourself and others. Old dramas of shame, self-doubt and worry will heal along the way.
Living in the Now will help to develop more sensuality, body awareness, patience, presence and the essential quality of gratitude. As you slow the momentum of the thinking mind, you will also learn to accept life the way it is, to appreciate simple pleasures and above all, open yourself to receive love and healing. As you let go of habits of control and "defendedness", you will feel your heart soften and your creative energies flow. This will provide the freedom to choose the road ahead with confidence, and to find real power
We will also refresh, continue and deepen the experiences gained from Living in Balance by bringing meditation more into everyday life, managing emotions in a healthier way, using self-expression for maintaining clear boundaries and releasing the old dependency mindset to become more a creator of your life. Let your true self shine through as you open to Living in the Now and claim the power of being present.
The Living in the Now retreat is held at the Yarra Valley Living Centre.
Monday 16 May to Friday 20 May 2011
The five day weekend retreat will be facilitated by Paul and Maia Bedson, both counsellors and psychotherapists with more than 20 years experience. We have a team of highly qualified and caring staff who draw on a rich background of personal experience. More importantly, they have an empathy and understanding gained from many years working and training in this specialised field. Meet our facilitators on our About Us page.
