Media and Communications Officer

A unique opportunity exists for a Media and Communications Officer at the Gawler Foundation.

The role is responsible for the external profile of the organisation; planning and implementing a proactive communications strategy, working across the organisation with Marketing, Fundraising, Research and the CEO.

This includes media relations, co-ordinating communications activities, developing and popularising the brand, developing and strengthening our campaigning activities and advertising. It also includes the development and maintenance of the website media file and the responsibility for internal communications.

To provide high level strategic media advice and communications expertise to assist the Foundation in its marketing, communications and media promotion activities.

Cook

Casual Position - hours as required

Day & Evening Shifts & Weekends

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Cook with proven qualifications and experience in Commercial Cooking at our Yarra Valley Living Centre at Yarra Junction.

The Gawler Foundation is a world pioneer and leader of educational self-help programs for people suffering from Cancer, MS and other serious illness. We require a highly motivated, compassionate and mature person to assist as required with the preparation of meals during residential programs.  The right person needs to have a current Level 1 Food Safety Certificate, good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
