Integration Program - continue the cancer healing journey

Continue the cancer healing journey with practical and life-supporting, follow-on group sessions 

Program overview

This is an Eight Week Integration Program for those who have previously completed a ten day residential 'Life and Living' and/or the twelve week non-residential  'Living Well' program, and who would like to continue to develop, deepen, and share their healing methods and experiences through an interactive support group program. 

Format

Program consists of 8 x 3 hour sessions. Sessions are weekly.

Session topics

• Week 1: Welcome introductions, touching base, taking stock, reviewing goals, dynamic contemplation 1
• Week 2: Food healing diet revisited, research updates, joys and challenges, shared lunch at end of session
• Week 3: Emotions which emotions predominate?, managing ups and downs, setbacks, cultivating a positive balance
• Week 4: Relating social dimensions, communication, assertiveness, opportunities and challenges, group role play
• Week 5: Choices decision-making, taking ownership of experience, commitment, dynamic contemplation 2
• Week 6: Mortality hope and fear, given we are going die when are we healed?, guided death visualisation
• Week 7: Meditation review and feedback, what is working and what is not?, additional 30mins of guided meditation
• Week 8: Spirituality sense of and connectedness, expression, creativity, surrender, dynamic contemplation 2

The Integration Program runs several times a year at our Hawthorn Centre.
